University Mall To Host Lincoln Portrait Exhibit CARBONDALE, IL (wsiu) - The University Mall has teamed up with the science center of Southern Illinois to help bring the celebration of President Lincoln's two hundredth birthday closer to home.
A new exhibit, called Lincoln through the years: a history of portraits 1846 through 1865, is coming to the Mall according to Pamela Madden, the executive director of the Science Center.
All of the images are taken from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library's Henry Homer collection.
The exhibit will be open from February fourteenth through April eleventh. Schools are being encouraged to schedule field trips.
