INDIANAPOLIS, IN (wsiu) - The nation's mounting job losses have sparked rising demand for high school general equivalency diplomas among some recently laid-off workers.

Laid-off workers who joined the work force after dropping out of high school are now realizing they need a general equivalency diploma to help them find work.

That's fueled a nationwide crush for general education
