Blagojevich Book Not Flying Off the Shelves
(2009-09-09)
(wsiu) - The book by indicted ex-Governor Rod Blagojevich is not exactly flying off the shelves after it was released Tuesday.

The executive director of the Illinois Library Association, Bob Doyle, says he has not read the book but says libraries in this state will have a number of reasons to add it, not the least of which is that people will be curious to read it but reluctant to spend money on it.

Doyle says as a work of an Illinois governor, it certainly has a place in any collection of Illinois history, though he adds the keeper of a collection does not necessarily endorse its contents.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the book was just outside the top 4,000 books sold on amazon.com which updates its list hourly.
